Wearing Lenses

Keep Your Coloured Contact Lenses Safe How to Use Them Effectively

With proper measures, coloured contact lenses can not only be worn but also enjoyed, and they are safe too. It is mandatory that you go through all the instructions very carefully before you put on your lenses.

Lens Insertion Steps:

1. Thoroughly Wash and Dry Your Hands: The first step is to make sure your hands are clean and dry before you even approach contact lenses.
2. Verify that the lens is a bowl and smooth by placing it on the tip of your index finger (you can refer to the diagram included in the packaging for better clarity).
3. With the help of your other hand, gently open your upper eyelid, and then with your middle finger, pull down your lower eyelid.
4. Using a mirror, look and then slowly touch the lens to your eye.
5. Now you can let your eyelids go and blink some times.
6. In any case, softly massage the eyelid where the lens is to help it move to the centre.
7. Do the same for the other eye.

Steps For Removing The Lenses:

1. Wash and dry your hands completely.
2. Look upwards and gently pull your lower eyelid down.
3. With your finger, move the lens towards the white part of your eye.
4. Gently press on the lens and take it out. Do not apply too much pressure when pinching.
5. Do the same for the other eye.

How To Care For And Store Your Lenses:

* Rinse your contact lenses with All In One Sterile Rinsing solution every time before wearing and after removing them.
* Always put fresh solution in the provided lens case for storing your lenses.
* For infrequent wearers, the solution in the case should be replaced every week.

Wearing Guidelines:

* The Halloween lenses we sell are suitable for occasional or costume use only.
In case of wearing lenses daily or for a longer time, get an eye care professional's opinion first.

Who Should NOT Use These Lenses?

If you have any of the following conditions, do not wear contact lenses:

* Corneal dystrophies
* Ulcers of the cornea
* Keratitis
* Inflammation of the eye
* Allergies affecting the eye area
* Any existing or diagnosed eye disease

The lenses are meant for healthy eyes only (diameter of around 14.0 mm, standard base curve).

Fitting & Aftercare:

* We recommend consulting your optometrist to confirm lens suitability and ensure a proper fit.
* Regular eye check-ups are strongly advised for safe lens wear.
* If you experience discomfort, watering, reduced vision, or redness, remove lenses immediately and seek professional care.
